Latest Sightings - 27th November - More Whoopers!

Apologies for the lack of updates this week, not much has changed though. Still very mild and quite wet, but nice weather for ducks, as they say.

Drake Green-winged Teal still on the Folly Pond, and the drake Ring-necked Duck is on the Whooper Pond having been on the Back Pond again first thing.

A Greenland White-fronted Goose dropped in briefly on Wednesday with some Whooper Swans before flying off. It could still be in the area though, so keep an eye out.

More Whooper Swans are now here with 131 on the Whooper Pond at 8:30. This includes long returning pair Paisley & Renfrew. They have returned for another year (both are around 15 years old) with one cygnet this time. Renfrew is easily identifiable because of his diamond bill pattern.

Today's high tide is at 12:53  9.8m
