Quick update Tuesday Sept 27th

A rather dreich day so far with relatively poor visibility; should clear a bit later. No additions to the 36 Barnacles yet, making this one of the later arrival years; likewise Whoopers are yet to show but could be any time soon. Folly Pond still producing plenty of Black-tailed Godwits and the Great White Egret was present on the merse as usual yesterday

Today's high tide 10:41, 8.2m

Osprey Webcam

The Ospreys have now fledged and are not returning to the nest very often so we will soon be starting our blog as we follow the satellite tagged chicks on their first migration.

As October approaches we will hopefully be switching to our winter webcam showing the Whooper Pond, where some 300 Whooper Swans will spend the winter.
