Update, Monday Aug 29th
Superb late summer weather again today. Great White Egret on the merse from Saltcot Merse Observatory, where four Ospreys could also be seen yesterday. Peregrine and Merlin are putting in appearances there too. Folly Pond is the best spot otherwise, with plenty still of autumn arrivals - lots of Teal, up to 80 Black-tailed Godwits, 30-odd Snipe and Greenshank

Osprey Webcam
The Ospreys have now fledged and are not returning to the nest very often so we will soon be starting our blog as we follow the satellite tagged chicks on their first migration.
As October approaches we will hopefully be switching to our winter webcam showing the Whooper Pond, where some 300 Whooper Swans will spend the winter.
