This certification underscores our commitment to protect the environment, build customer trust and meet our legal obligations within our operations in Northern Ireland.
Castle Espies facilities manager Paul Whitcombe and team successfully demonstrated a keen focus on their environmental responsibility and a commitment to maintaining an effective environmental management system.
Protecting the environment is not only import to us as an environmental charity but is a business issue. Many organisations now require their suppliers to have specific environmental management plans. Implementing ISO 14001 policies will enable us to demonstrate to our stakeholders, members, visitors and other business or organisations that we are committed to reducing our environmental impact.
ISO 14001 is the most important standard in the ISO 14000 series of environmental management standards. The International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) has developed this series for businesses and other organisations looking to reduce their environmental impact.
