Easter Craft Fair with North Down Craft Collective

Meet local artists and makers and shop their beautiful, handmade craft pieces. From textiles to ceramics, paintings to prints, and plenty more in between, you're sure to find something unique.

Time: 10am-4pm

Location: Visitor Centre

Cost: Entry to the market is free. Normal admission applies beyond the visitor centre.

Following our collaboration in 2024, we're thrilled to welcome North Down Craft Collective back to WWT Castle Espie this year. As well as our Easter Fair, the makers will be returning for an August Craft Month Fair and Christmas Fair later in the year. Make sure to save the dates!

About North Down Craft Collective

North Down Craft Collective was established in 2013 bringing together makers and artists from the Ards and North Down borough. What started as a monthly market in Holywood has now become a collective of creatives showcasing their work through exhibitions, pop-ups and fairs.

The group previously held exhibitions in the gallery at Castle Espie in 2020 and 2022.

A designated retail space, The Craft Room, was opened in Comber in 2016 and has recently moved to Newtownards. The shop showcases the work of the collective as well as other Northern Irish makers and runs craft workshops and events.

Many of the artists and makers take inspiration from the landscape and wildlife in the borough and these pieces will make up a large part of the work on show at Castle Espie.
