Inspiring Connections: Poetry and Nature Unite at the Wetland Centre

In July, we proudly partnered with Brixton-based charity Poetic Unity to celebrate the vital connection between nature and creativity. Together, we highlighted the importance of preserving wildlife through the power of poetry.

During a day spent surrounded by the serene beauty of the London Wetland Centre, Poetic Unity's members drew inspiration from the natural world. The result is "Symbiosis: A Love Letter to Nature," a stunning film written and performed by Amaarah Roze that captures the profound impact of this experience.

Poetic Unity has been a beacon of empowerment for young people, using poetry to help them find their voices and realize their full potential. With over nine years of service, they’ve reached 40,000 young people, fostering a sense of community and self-expression.
