Stargazing at Martin Mere
‘Take a tour of the Universe’ and discover the wonders of the solar system at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre.
WWT Martin Mere has formed a partnership with Liverpool Astronomical Society and Astronomia to offer a series of special astronomy evenings, the next one is taking place on Saturday 11 January.
The event will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm, with telescopes available outside for visitors to discover the wonders of the solar system. Experts from the Liverpool Astronomical Society and Astronomia will give illustrated talks and there will also be advice on ‘how to choose your first telescope.’
“Our astronomy evenings at Martin Mere are very popular and we expect the January event to be a sell-out again as it coincides with the BBC Stargazing Live week.” commented Hannah Clifford, Marketing Manager at Martin Mere.
Tickets cost £5 per person and advance booking is required, please call 01704 895181 (Monday to Friday).
