Dowitcher & Great White Egret
The Long-billed Dowitcher is still present on Woodend Marsh viewable from UU Hide, it can go missing for quite a while but normally reappears on and off.
Good numbers of Snipe around with at least 150 this morning, also 20+ Ruff, 2 Green Sandpiper, 2000+ Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Redshank, 600+ Lapwing.
A Great White Egret was around today touring the reserve.
A Garganey was in Langley's brook in between Sunley's and Vinson's from Ron Barker Hide, also a single Whooper Swan from here.
Still a few Yellow Wagtail from UU among the Cattle. Kingfisher was showing in the usual place in front of Ron Barker Hide.
The Willow Tit is still visiting the feeders at Janet Kear Hide
A few more Wigeon around today with plenty more still to arrive.
