Garganey
An eclipsed drake Garganey seen this morning from the Ron Barker Hide with 100+ Teal. Other wildfowl included 140+ Greylag and 46 Shelduck.
A good selection of waders with a new Wood Sandpiper from the Ron Barker Hide, c50 Black-tailed Godwit and 10+ Ruff. Green Sandpiper from the Hale Hide. Other waders included 13 Common Snipe, 2 Oystercatcher, Dunlin and 300+ Lapwing.
Two adult female Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, 3 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.
Other counts included 18 Sand Martin, 20 House Martin and 130+ Swift.
