Fresher than of late and a couple of brief showers promising the possibility of new waders. As it happens the Ruff have increased to 8 birds, 3 Dunlin and 2 juv Little Ringed Plover new in. At least 70 Black-tailed Godwit on the Mere this morning.
A Hobby dashed through around midday. Plenty of Swallow, House Martin and Swift potentially on it's menu. Two Marsh Harrier, 2 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
Yesterday a Cuckoo showed well from the Harrier Hide.
