Monday update
Beautiful autumn day with light winds and sunshine. Notable for some movements of Fieldfare and a few Redwing over the reserve this morning. There has been a good influx of these winter thrushes in the last 24 hours.
Additional birds not mentioned on yesterday's comprehensive round up include, 5+ Siskin visiting the feeders at the Janet Kear Hide. Green Sandpiper from the Ron Barker Hide, also 2 Kingfisher there. Tawny Owl roosting near the Janet Kear Hide inside the grounds, Barn Owl showed well from the Ron Barker Hide. Stonechats out on the fence lines around the reserve and a Treecreeper near the side gate next to the Play Area.
