Summer Time
A very pleasant day on the reserve, feeling like summer! A Grey Wagtail briefly on the Nature Trail near the in focus shop seemed out of place.
A similar selection of late with Cuckoo(s) still calling at the back of the Waterfowl Gardens/Reed Bed Walk. Great-spotted Woodpecker around the same area.
Green Sandpiper and Ruff present, occasionally on the Mere or from the Hale Hide, 18 Black-tailed Godwit, 30+ Avocet.
Marsh Harrier, 2+ Common Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
