Wood Sandpipers
The two juvenile Wood Sandpipers are still present but moving around the reserve, in the morning they were on view from Ron Barker hide and then mid afternoon they were on the Mere with 2 Green Sandpipers.
There are still large numbers of Black-tailed Godwit present mainly on Woodend Marsh, also 400+ Lapwing and from Ron Barker Hide 5-6 Little Ringed Plovers and a few Ruff and Common Sandpiper. A few Snipe can be seen form UU and Ron Barker hide.
Little Grebe on the Mere and from Harrier Hide, also 2 Great Crested Grebe adult and juv from Harrier Hide. A few Tufted Duck families on the Mere including very young ducklings.
Up to 6 Common Terns on the Mere including 1 juvenile.
