Hobby and Med Gull

A Hobby was seen a few times today from Ron Barker Hide also at least 2 Marsh Harrier.

A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was on the Mere early afternoon also the first juvenile Common Gull of the autumn joined the many young Black-headed Gulls, making a great chance to study the subtle differences in plumage.

A few Green Sandpipers around, the best spot is normally Hale Hide where at least one has been showing well the last few days. Lots of Black-tailed Godwits still on site.

A few sightings of Kingfisher from the best spot Ron Barker Hide, also one flew low over the Mere.

A juvenile Little Grebe still on the Mere showing well from the Discovery Hide.

No reports of either Wood Sandpipers or Greenshank today
