Reserve Update Saturday 25th November
Good morning for a wander....Goldcrest, Fieldfare, Redwing and Long-tailed Tits are present in the Hawthorns down the Avenue. Due to their presence there was also a female Sparrowhawk perched up in one of the Sycamore trees first thing. The Water Rail is back under the feeders again in the Peter Scott Trail. There is a lovely flock of Golden Plover and Lapwing in the High Middle field as seen from Avenue Tower, also with four Dunlin mixed in as well. The Kingfisher was observed on one of the Willow trees on Back Pond yesterday afternoon during the 2pm Swan Feed on Whooper Pond, so keep an eye out for it if visiting today!
