Latest Sightings
60 black-tailed godwits have been seen from Rees hide this week, along with 2 little-ringed plover, 7 green sandpipers, and 1 common sandpiper. A stoat was spotted at Gordon Taylor hide and a hobby was also seen flying overhead.
4 cattle egrets were seen in the willows near Harrier Hide this weekend, and you can still hear (and hopefully see!) some reed warblers, sedge warblers, and Cetti's warblers along the reedbed walk.
Many swifts and swallows can be seen overhead, mainly flying over the mere and the path towards the visitor centre. A garganey and 2 ruff have been spotted at Ron Barker hide this weekend.
