Latest Sightings
Over the weekend there have been common tern and avocets across the whole reserve with many nesting on the Mere and some on Woodend Marsh. Cuckoos can be heard throughout the canoe safari, reedbed and nature trail.
The good weather has brought more butterflies onto the reserve including orange tips, green-veined whites, brimstones, walls, peacocks and large whites.
