Latest Sightings
Over the weekend there has been a lot of kingfisher action down at the Ron Barker hide with adult birds being seen flying up and down the ditch and feeding young on the pool to the left of the hide. There has been Corn Buntings out on the reserve around the cows. We now have four terns nesting on the new tern raft that has been put out on the mere with at least two pairs now feeding chicks. There was also a water vole seen on the ditch that runs past the Gordon Taylor hide.
