We are not aware of any related party transactions in the year (2011/12: £nil). As disclosed in note 17, out of pocket
expenses totalling £1,744 (2011/12: £3,240) were paid to Council Members.

At 31 March 2013, WWT was committed to approximately £63k in connection with the development of the grounds
at Slimbridge, £129k in connection with developments at Arundel, £22k in connection with developments in the
reserve and grounds at Washington, £279k in connection with development of the buildings at Caerlaverock, £165k
in connection with developments at Martin Mere, £45k in connection with building new breeding aviaries, £348k in
connection with landscaping the Steart Peninsula, £7k in connection with protection against invasive species and £145k
has been committed towards general centre improvements.
